Device Model

Creating a new device model​

To enable device instance creation a model base must be created first. To start this task open the menu ADD NEW, pushing the button on main header and select New Devie Model.

Set device identifier and name​

Define an Identifier for the new device model here.

Define a name for the new device model here.

Configure a new device template​

To configurate a new device template you will follow a few simple steps. Follow

    1. Define indentifier name
    1. Define device name
    1. Select/Create a list of singals
    1. Set an image to the new device template

Select/Create a list of signals​

Here you can define the name, unit, type and semantics for a signal. Use this menu to apply the signals collected and read by the respective device. By clicking on the “+” button you can repeat the process for another signal.

Set an image to the new Device Template​

Finally, you must select an image that represents this device.

With the conclusion of these previous steps, you can finalize the Device Model registration by clicking on the “Create” button in the lower right corner.
