Creating a New Edge

To create and configure a New Edge as similar as create a new device instance. It uses again the button , on the main header, and find a card button called “New Edge”, like an image below, press it.

Configuring a New Edge

On configure New Edge screen, you may apply a semantic name and address its connection endpoint, in the general group of the main header.

Add devices into New Edge

The Edge needs to be informed what is the devices that will be connected with it. On tab “Devices” you will add and configure them.

Adding Device

To connecting a new device on Edge use de button “Connect a new Device”.

You will need to choose in a dropdown button what is device and protocol type you want to connect in your new Edge. As shown in the below example:

It uses the button to open the Device connection menu.
